Happy Sunday EVerybody! Yesterday I went to the post office and got a wonderful surprise.....my reveal gift from my wonderful Secret Pal - Donna - Yarntomato! A pair of funky monkey socks (which I wore walking yesterday - that's why they look a little stretched). A black cherry candle (smells divine) - a jar of Watkins shea butter that smells like lemon cake and then.....a sterling silver crochet hook charm. I have been looking for one everywhere and I can't wait to put on my charm bracelet. Thanks DOnna for everything - you have been the best secret pal ever! Almost forgot - she also gave me ANOTHER gift this morning....a re-vamped blog button...which I really needed and am really thankful for - so steal it please!!! The next swapper that gets Donna as their Pal - you are very lucky!!!
Went to buy some yarn for my secret pal's Hat...I've been reading her blog and I think I know the type of hat I want to make for her. She sounds very cool. Joanns had coupons yesterday and today for 50% off - which thankfully I can use at Michaels as well (I think they are glad to get business anywhere they can) I think Joanns is eating their lunch. Bought some TLC amore, more Bernat denim and some microspun - also another skein of LB WE Chunky in Walnut - to work on my poncho or sweater haven't decided yet....better hurry as it will be too warm to wear it. Also last night I worked more on my afghan - its coming along nicely - I think altogether it asked for 48 blocks and I have about 28 done. Probably could have done about 5 more - but my body - said "I give up - let's go to bed"!!!
